The Story: In a village, An older lady lived alone. Every day she used to prepare the delicious dish vada and sell it in front of her home. One day, a cunning crow noticed the plate of vada. The elderly woman entered her home to get some water.
The crow immediately grabbed a vada from the plate, took off, and then landed on a tree branch. A fox came from that side and smelled vada. Wow! What is this delicious odour? I need to eat. It wondered and then looked up to see the crow having the vada. Fox made a trick to eat that vada and said, ‘Hi, Beautiful crow! You look fantastic. Your voice is so melodious. Could you sing for me? Crow was very happy to hear that it was beautiful. It opened the mouth and started singing Ka Ka Kaaa. Ka Ka Kaaaa… for the fox. The vada fell from the crow’s mouth, and the fox took off and ran away.
The moral of the story is Never steal other people’s property, and some others will cheat you and to be aware of flattery and deceit and to not fall for false praise .
